Art Quilts by Barbara Moll

Barbara Moll is a Muncie, Indiana artist who makes non-traditional art quilts after painting cotton cloth with fiber-reactive dyes.

This website provides background information about Barb, shares her inspirations and techniques, and displays examples of her work.

Many of her quilts over the past several years were inspired by a 1989 trip to Hiroshima, Japan. This has culminated in an August 2000 solo exhibition of her entire Hiroshima Series at the Mitsukoshi Department Store gallery in Hiroshima.

Be sure to visit the Art Gallery and view a selection of Barb's quilts. And if you like what you see, check back again as we continue to add photos of more quilts to the site.

Barb appreciates hearing your reactions to any of her quilts–especially those quilts in the Hiroshima series. Please e-mail your comments to her at barbmoll@hotmail.com. If you have any suggestions or questions about the website, send an e-mail to webmaster@barbaramoll.com.
