Sales and Commissions
Generally my quilts are not available for sale until I have had the opportunity to exhibit them for a year or two. Sometimes I do commissions for individuals or businesses.
My work is very labor intensive. Each piece of cloth is painted with dye that permanently adheres to the fibers. I somtimes paint cloth many times before it is ready for cutting, sewing, and quilting. Currently I sell work for $100 to $200 per square foot depending on the complexity of the piece. Some commissioned work may cost more.
Currently I have for sale some older quilts that are not representative of my current work. Some of these are very reasonable in price. (I did not start painting with dyes until 1992.)
