Fiber-reactive dye on cotton, hand painted, machine pieced and quilted.

The painting of this fabric was begun just after a long hike on a windy March day.  The wind blew through the fragile stalks of grasses and weeds.  After more applications of color I used the quilting to enhance the windy image.
