Exhibition:
Quilts for Peace
August 5-13, 2000
Solo exhibition at the Mitsukoshi Gallery, Hiroshima, Japan
This
exhibition in Hiroshima was 11 years in the making and is the fulfillment
of Barbara's dream. The following two statements explain how a trip to Hiroshima
inspired Barbara to make this series of 30 quilts - and complement the
information provided on each individual quilt.
